Summertime Schedule Changes

We are gearing up for a bit of an overhaul to our schedule for the summer months and beyond.  The biggest changes are coming to the kids classes and age groups. We are altering our age divisions as follows: Mini’s (Kids ages 3 and 4) will have a class on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 10:30, Kids Ages 5 to 9 will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00, and Kids ages 10 to 14 will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:30.  Along with these changes will be some necessary changes to the program itself, since we will no longer be offering a seperate Kids Jiu Jitsu program. Instead, all of our kids programs will cover the core skills and practical self defense techniques from both Kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu styles of martial art.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, the Adult Kickboxing classes will be moved forward to 6:30 and 7:30.  Our Advanced Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling classes, which meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively, will also be moved forward to 7:00. Friday Adult classes will be moved an hour earlier as well, with Kickboxing at 5:00 and Jiu Jitsu at 6:00. Finally, Saturday Jiu Jitsu will be pushed back to 10:30 to make room for our new Mini’s pre-skills program!

We hope that the simplified kids program and changes in class times will make it easier for students to keep up with training through the busy summer months and beyond! If you have any questions about any of the changes and how they might effect you, please don’t hesitate to contact us via email, text, call or in person at the dojo! Changes take effect as of Monday July 9th.
